Canteen Creek is a remote semi-desert area in Northern Territory of Australia. It is about 270km (171 miles) away from Tennant Creek, Alice Springs. Most of the road from Tennant Creek is constructed from gravel/dirt, and is in very poor condition in wet weather. There is a small Aboriginal community that lives alongside the creek.
Designer Andrea Collinson comes from the canteen creek area. She has vivid knowledge about the flora and fauna of the region.
