Pirate stuffie and bunting panel

I have just finished sewing the stuffy and bunting panel. I have made them for my grandson, who is about to have surgery. He is keen on pirates at the moment. I made the pirate stuffy so he will have a toy to cuddle while in hospital. The bunting will be at home for him post surgery. I found the instructions clear and simple. Although the instructions give the option of sewing or gluing the bunting flags to the ribbon. I decided to sew it because I think it will be stronger and longer lasting. I chose a ribbon that looks good, but I think that bias binding might give a better result.
