Welcome to our online store. We have developed the site to be as user friendly as possible but if you need any help please don't hesitate to contact us and we will walk you through. There are a few ways to search for our products. You can use the categories on the left hand side or the search bar which is found underneath our banner or under the Information Categories, then simply type in your key word. eg if you are looking for owl fabric, type in owl and it will display all items with dogs.
Once you have had a look around and you are ready to place an order you need to establish an account. Just click the "LOG IN" tab at the top left hand side and fill in the appropriate details. If you are having trouble logging in, try clearing your cache/browsing history, or by adding something to your cart first ( you can delete this item prior to checkout if you need to)
You are now ready to add items to your shopping cart. Find the item you wish to purchase, indicate how many you would like then click on add to cart.You can then continue shopping or use the checkout to process your order. If you need to delete something from you shopping cart, click the trash bin on the right hand side next to the item..

For Aussie Buyers our preferred method of payment is via direct deposit ( details provided at checkout), money order or PAYPAL for orders over $20.
For International Customers , PAYPAL is the only form of payment we can accept.
All orders require insurance which is added to your order at checkout. This is to ensure your order arrives safely
REFUNDS
If you would like to return your order we will refund the cost of the item less a 20% processing fee and postage costs, unless the item is faulty.Please email thematerialgirls@ozemail.com.au for refund details
LAYBYS
We happily layby for 4-8 weeks for orders over $50. For orders $50-$200 a 4 week layby is offered. Orders over $200 can be an 8 week layby. If you would like to layby, place your order via the website, choose bank deposit at checkout and leave LAYBY in the comments. We will then email you a payment schedule. Payments are to be made weekly via bank deposit ( if overseas and paypal invoices need to be issued a $2 fee will be charged per invoice) . There is a 20% cancellation fee if layby is cancelled within 4 weeks and will be deducted from any payments made. If we receive a payment, then no contact before the layby term ends, all prior payments will be forfeited, no refund will be given in this case.
